Occupy Cedar Rapids contacted Outreach by phone today, inquiring into their interest in participating in consecutive joint actions concerning QuadRotor unmanned surveillance systems.

--Tuesday from 5-7 there will be a Occupied Protest Song and Chant Writing Session

--Interested members will begin putting together an anti-consumerism informational program on simplifying the your life with a focus on the upcoming holiday season.   Program will include teach-ins,  skillshares and discussion forum.

Student Assembly held at the Pentacrest today due to a power failure at Public Space 1.  Discussion centered around upcoming student strike.

Scattergood Friends School has invited us to join in their Peace Walk Sunday, November 13th.   The walk will begin at Scattergood School in West Branch and end at Old Brick.   They will be coming into Iowa City on Rochester Ave around 1 p.m and walking to Old Brick.  Occupiers are encouraged to join the group.
